Brass Touch Tool: Avoid dirty door handles, elevator buttons, touch-screens & more

The Brass Touch Tool is an every-day-carry multitool designed to interact with most doors and surfaces in shared spaces. The hook can be used to pull door handles or taps. The pointer is perfect for pushing buttons at elevators or keypads at ATMs and apartment buildings. Because our touch tool is made from 100% brass, it is also responsive to touch screens and inherently antimicrobial due to the high copper content we use. 

Touchscreen devices such as mobile phones, bank ATMs, supermarket self-serve checkouts and airport check-in kiosks are high-touch surfaces which may not be regularly cleaned and pose a transmission risk.

Because we use a high grade of brass there is no need for a rubber tip to make the Touch Tool work on touch screens. The material used to construct this tool has conductive properties. This means you can use any flat side of the Brass Touch Tool as a stylus. 

No - we cast a solid piece of brass to form this tool. Our brass is made from an alloy of approx. 65% Copper and 35% Zinc which means this tool should last a lifetime and like all good things, age beautifully. 

Not quite - we do not apply any additional coating to this product. However, the surfaces of copper and its alloys, such as brass, are antimicrobial by nature. They have an ability to kill a wide range of harmful microbes relatively rapidly – often within two hours or less – and with a high degree of efficiency. As such, this tool keep your hands clean and it also cleans itself!

You can simply slip this into their pocket or bag because of its convenient size. However, you will notice a keyring hole that can fit your favourite keychain or carabiner. Because this tool works on a number of surfaces and opens most doors (and even bottles...) its a great addition to your every-day-carry.
